Since April, Rosalinda Quiroz has been tackling this challenge, channelling her seemingly endless energy and enthusiasm into the job. Rosalinda ensures that YVR's bathrooms, food courts and common areas are immaculate, and says she "feels bored when [she's] not moving."

“Try before you buy" has been the Airport Authority's mantra when it comes to hybrid and electric vehicles. Several Airport Authority departments, including Wildlife, Operations, Maintenance and Environment, have been test driving a variety of environmentally friendly vehicles to determine whether the vehicles will fit their needs.

With colder weather comes the start of the flu season. Beginning Tuesday, November 1, visit the Vancouver Airport Medical Clinic on Level 1 of the Domestic Terminal Building and arm yourself with a shot.

YVR has one of the most extensive collections of Northwest Coast native art in the world. The collection contains icons such as The Spirit of Haida Gwaii, The Jade Canoe and Mythic Messengers from the late Bill Reid. In addition, the collection includes several statues, totem poles, and carvings from other acclaimed artists.
