			Pay-per-use Lounges Come to YVR Vancouver International Airport Authority has introduced the first pay-per-use passenger lounges in North America. With the introduction of Plaza Premium Arrivals and Departures Lounges, all international travellers can enjoy a first-class lounge experience regardless of airline or class of travel. more info


			Drop Boxes Allow You To Keep Forfeited Items YVR has introduced a Drop Box Program that gives travellers the option of keeping items that are prohibited on flights. more info

	What does YVR stand for? YVR is Vancouver International Airport’s designator or code. The world’s international airports have three-letter designators, as established by the International Air Transport Association. In some cases, the connection is obvious – LAX is Los Angeles International Airport – while others seemingly bear no relation to the airport or city – YYZ is Toronto Pearson International Airport. However, there is one common link among Canada’s international airport designators: they all begin with the letter Y.
