2 Options are available:

Option #1: U.S. Direct

Vancouver International Airport is pleased to offer eligible cruise guests a new level of service designed to get you to your ship as quickly as possible. The US Direct program stems from the understanding that a large majority of embarking Alaska cruise guests arrive directly from the U.S. just hours prior to sailing. This program spearheaded in part by the Canadian and U.S. Government Agencies enables an intranist transfer between the port and airport for eligible guests. With US Direct, you may save up to 2 hours of customs and immigration wait times.

To participate in US Direct, you must meet the following requirements:
  • US Citizen or Permanent US Resident status
  • Arrive in Vancouver on a direct flight from the United States prior to 2:30pm on the day of sailing
  • Possess an airport to pier bus transfer
If you do not hold a bus transfer, please contact your travel agent prior to departure
  • Place ship baggage tags on your checked baggage prior to airline check-in
Guests in need of additional baggage tags should contact their travel agent prior to departure. If you do not pre-tag your baggage you will not be eligible to participate.
Upon arrival at Vancouver International Airport, follow the US Direct signage (as indicated below) to the transfer point. Passengers should have their proof of citizenship and bus transfer readily available.

Do not proceed down the escalators to Canada Customs.
