YVR: Your Airport 2027
As B.C.'s airport, YVR enables British Columbians to welcome the world, pursue their business goals and embrace family and friends. YVR is Canada's second-busiest airport and the closest major West Coast airport to Asia, a region that is emerging as an economic powerhouse. The Airport Authority's vision is to continue to develop YVR as a premier global gateway, connecting the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas.

The 20-Year Master Plan is a medium-term roadmap, outlining how the Airport Authority will accommodate growth in passenger, aircraft and cargo volumes, meet the needs of YVR's stakeholders and the communities it serves and achieve its gateway strategy and sustainability objectives while supporting the airport's longer-term viability.

After reviewing global, national, regional and industry forecasts and consulting extensively with a diverse range of partners and communities, the Airport Authority has prepared a draft 20-Year Master Plan, that outlines its recommendations for meeting YVR's needs to 2027, provides a proposed 2027 Airport Land Use Plan and forms the basis for further consultation.

The Airport Authority has submitted the 2027 Land Use Plan to the Federal Minister of Transport for approval. This web page will be updated with the revised YVR: Your Airport 2027 Master Plan, Technical Report and approved 2027 Land Use Plan when they are available.

We hope you will continue to stay involved. If you require more information or would like to receive notification when the final documents are available, please email us at master_plan@yvr.ca
